‘The best Scream since the OG’

I am truly a Scream fanatic and have enjoyed every entry in the franchise, even the worst ones…. (Looking at you number 3)

The early reviews for this film was unreal and made me even more excited for this 6th instalment.

As soon as the film began the hairs stood up on my arms and I was ready to be thrilled and excited.

The intro itself was such a fresh start, following the original intro trope with a huge twist, the whole time I was like “WTF is this” until a real ghost face appears, and then when you knew shit was going to be different with this one especially the kills.

The shots and lighting throughout the film was insanely good and made it have such a fresh vibe throughout whilst still paying homage to the well deserved original. The brutality alone in this film really showed us as the audience they wanted to take it to the next level.

The cast was absolutely phenomenal; Jenna Ortega and Melissa Barrera as the protagonists really were able to show the talent. The secondary characters were also a fun and interesting and were allowed to flourish in the film, whilst still having the legendry characters such as Courtney Cox and Hayden Panettiere.

Radio Silence (Matt Olpin and Tyler Gillet) really took this franchise to an intresting next level, my only hope is that they bring Stu (Matthew Lillard) back in what seems will be the final instalment.
